Activating your new Trigonon device<\/span><\/h1><\/h1><\/div>

NOTE<\/b>: You will need a PC or Laptop with a working USB port to perform these steps.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

Step 1<\/h1><\/div>

Open your order<\/span><\/p>\n

Log into your account, then select <\/span>Account Info<\/span><\/i>, and then <\/span>Device Orders<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/span><\/div>

Step 2<\/h1><\/div>

Expand your order row, and press <\/span>View Order Details<\/span><\/i>, then press <\/span>Mark as Delivered<\/span><\/i> to begin the activation process.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/span><\/div>

Step 3<\/h1><\/div>

Once you mark the order as delivered, you will be able to activate the device(s) shipped with the order.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Overview of process:<\/b>\u00a0 You will see one row for each device ordered.\u00a0 The actions involved in activation are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You will need to confirm that the device you received matches the device assigned to your order.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. You need to configure WiFi for your device.\u00a0 This is most likely going to be to the hot-spot of the device you will use in the field, but you can configure multiple WiFi connections on any device.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. You will test that the WiFi connection works.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. You will claim the device to your account and activate it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>

    Step 4<\/h1><\/div>

    Confirm the device Serial Number (S\/N) by comparing the number etched in the bottom of the device with the S\/N on the device row on the screen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    If they match, then press the Action button, select Confirm S\/N and press Ok.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    If the numbers do not match, submit a Support ticket immediately and we will address the issue. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    Step 5<\/h1><\/div>

    To configure the WiFi, we start by pressing the Action button, then selecting <\/span>Configure Wifi<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    <\/span><\/div>

    This will take you to a page where you can access the device through the USB port.\u00a0 Using the provided USB cable, connect the device to your laptop or PC.\u00a0 Once connected, ensure the power is on, and the multi-function LED is blinking on and off slowly with a dark blue color.\u00a0 You will see this LED as indicated here:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    <\/span><\/div>

    Note:\u00a0 if the multi-function LED is rapidly blinking green, you are OK to proceed as well.\u00a0 That just means the device already has a WiFi connection setup, but the network is out of range.<\/span><\/p>\n

    On the Device Wifi Configuration Screen, press <\/span>Select Device<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0 Then on the prompt dialog that opens, choose the Photon P2 (or similar) device and press Connect.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    This will scan the available networks and load the list.\u00a0 Choose your network from the list of WiFi SSIDs,\u00a0 enter the password, and press <\/span>Connect<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    If your network is visible, ensure it\u2019s turned on and broadcasting, the press Re-Scan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    If successful, you will see a popup.\u00a0 If not, you will get a warning. \u00a0 Once successful, the device will restart itself, and connect. \u00a0 After several seconds, you should see the Multi-function LED start to blink Cyan slowly (like a heartbeat).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    Step 6<\/h1><\/div>

    To test network connectivity, start again by pressing the Action button, then choose <\/span>Test Connection<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    Press OK to test the WiFi connection. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    Step 7<\/h1><\/div>

    The final step is to claim the device and activate it on your account.\u00a0 Start again with the Action button, press <\/span>Claim Device<\/span><\/i>, and then Ok.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    That\u2019s It!! You have successfully registered your device.\u00a0 You will the Action button is now missing, and you can repeat these steps on any other device you received.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

    Once completed, press Home in the breadcrumb navigation, and you can begin using the device and creating projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
